Catching some fish...
Our family and my sister Jen's family went up Payson Canyon and went fishing. It was a warm yet beautiful day and we wanted to spend the day outside. Of course we both forgot sunscreen so we did our best to keep our little babies covered-And watch the toddlers and watch our hubbys fish. We had a lot of fun. It was cute because the kids (Parker and Koula) fished- that lasted about 2 minutes. Mike and Parker caught a fish and he loved it until Mike told him to hold the fish so I could get a picture taken. The fish would move so that made Parker not want anything to do with it. We all had a great time and cant wait to do again. I hope that our little ones didnt get burned from the sun.

What a weekend....
Mike went to Vegas for the weekend with some co-workers... so I was with the kids- which was fine because I am with them everyday so it was nothing new. But of course pretty much the whole time he was gone it was COLD and RAINED! We spent most of the time in the house, until I would go crazy for being inside- so we would leave for a short period of time. It would have been so much easier if we could have played outside the whole time. It makes me realized how much I appreciate the help from Mike and was sure relieved when he got back. He surprised me with a dozen peach roses. I was shocked- I needed that after a busy weekend.

Indoor fun
It was raining one day last week so I decided to build a fort and let them play in it. It was nothing big- but to Parker- it was awesome. Ashlyn just smiled and laughed when Parker would go in and out of the tent. It seems that just about every time Parker gets a blanket he tries to make a tent himself.
OUCH!!!
Parker has got ot be one touch kid.... he factured his foot a little over a month ago and was in a cast for a few weeks. The cast was off for about 2 weeks when a little girl friend of his accidently slammed his fingers in the door. We had to take him to the ER because the back of his finger nail was lifted from the skin. They had to cut it down and push the nail back into place. He was in a lot of pain but did really well. POOR KID! They say things happen in sets of 3- I hope that it wont be the case with him :)
